A cool excursion for the whole family is the Spannagel Cave below the Hintertux Glacier. The cave is located in a 25 meter thick marble vein, which runs from the Spannagelhaus down to Hintertux.
The guided tour through the show cave is offered several times a day. On the approximately 1-hour tour, you will explore the entrance area of the impressive cave system. An expert guide will explain many interesting details about geology.
The cave trekking is a real adventure. The illuminated show cave area is left and it goes with headlamp and special overalls even deeper into the cave. The approx. 3-hour tour is comparable to a category B via ferrata.
This tour takes you deeper into the Spannagelhöhle. The sporty trekking tour takes about 5 hours and is comparable to a via ferrata category E.
