The culmination of a perfect ski day is the longest downhill run in Zillertal - 12 exhilarating kilometres from the Hintertux Glacier down to Hintertux.

Our house is only 500 m from the base station of the Eggalm Bahn lifts, which provide access to the Zillertal 3000 ski region.

Ski from the challenging and diverse holiday paradise of Eggalm to the sunny plateau at Rastkogel, on to the breathtaking panorama run or take the 150er Tux cable car to the popular slopes on Penken, with the Vans Penken Park and legendary Harakiri downhill run, maybe stop for refreshments in a quaint mountain hut before heading back home again.

Those who stick to the Glacier Tour route, will cover over 15,000 metres in altitude and 72 kilometres of varied slopes at altitudes of 630 m to 3,250 m in just one day!
