Tux Mill, Juns
The Tux Mill was built in 1839 and has since been completely restored. Back in those days, one was a self sufficient as possible and crops were home grown. This barley mill was used not only for making bread, but also for the preparation of various cakes and desserts.

Stoankasern Mountain Cheese Makers, Juns
Junsalm and the Stoankasern snack bar can be found in the ruggedly romantic Almhochtal Valley at 1,984 m. altitude. Those interested in seeing how milk is turned into butter and cheese can visit from mid June to the end of September any morning. Allow ca. 2 1/2 hours for the walk from Lanersbach, hiker's taxi on Tuesday and Thursday (June to October)

Mountain farming settlement in Gemais, Tux -Vorderlanersbach
This community has its' origins in a 13th Century dairy farm. In later years, the farm was divided up, from which the four existing farms of today emerged. This group of farms is a unique example of structural and economic development in medieval times.

Devil's Bridge - Hochsteg Bridge, Finkenberg
The Devil's Bridge was built in 1876 and is now a rare example of Tyrolean construction techniques. The bridge spans a deep gorge, which the Tux River flows through. The Hochsteg Bridge is another 18th Century bridge which crosses the Zemmbach River. Finkenberg is also home to several natural monuments, including the "Alte Linde" and "Alte Buche" (750 years old)

Spannagel Caves, Hintertux
Below the Spannagel House on the Hintertux Glacier you will find the entrance to this underground adventure: Bedrock of the main Alpine Ridge - this is an extraordinary geological display of seamed marble (crystalline limestone) which entends from Hintertux in a southerly direction. The Spannagel Caves are the largest in the Central European Alps! open all year round, tours daily from 10:00 to 15:00 hrs.

Regular Guests Summit Cross
The summit cross at Ramsjoch (2,600 m) was erected and blessed in honour of all regular guests during the Regular Guest Week in 2000. Easily accessible from Eggaalm via the Grüblspitze Peak in around 1 1/2 hour walk.

Churches and Chapels
The parish church in Finkenberg was built in 1721 and is dedicated to St. Leonhard. Four more chapels characterise the landscapes in Finkenberg, the Innerberg Chapel on the village outskirts, Heimkehrer Chapel in Persal, Hochsteg Chapel in Hochsteg and the Herz-Jesu Chapel at the beginning of the village. Innsbruck painter, Wolfram Köberle, created the frescoes in 1965.

Nature's Ice Palace at the Hintertux Glacier
Nature's Ice Palace is a glacial crevasse which emerged without any human intervention whatsoever. It is divided into the Entrance Hall, "Blue Chamber" with Ice Chapel, Firnkegel Gallery with the Crystal Chamber and the Ice palace itself with incredible ice formations. Panorama Terrace at 3,250 m
This unique observation deck is located at the top station of the Gefrorene Wand lifts on the Hintertux Glacier. The ascent alone is an experience in itself! Breathtaking panoramic views extend from the Großglockner to the Dolomites and the Zugspitze Peak! With full disabled access, anyone can come and enjoy the most beautiful views of the Alps with no physical effort needed whatsoever. An exhibition of sculptures by local artist, Leonhard Tipotsch from Tux, are displayed on the panorama terrace. "Elements" is the very apt name for this exhibition.
